Flying radio station broadcasts help to Haiti

To help Haiti stay informed, the U.S. Coast Guard is using two of three Air Force C-130 planes to cycle above Haiti and send out radio signals. The Department of Defense handed out non-battery powered radios to the people of Haiti. These radios inform the people of what is going on in their native language of Creole.

Introduction

Hi, my name is Crystal. I graduated high school in 2008 with most of my classmates in Rush City High School. It was surprising for me to graduate, because my two older brothers never did. I have a mother, father, and three brothers. Two of my brothers are older and one is younger. I don't have any sisters. I have four nephews and no nieces.

I am a nice person. I used to describe myself as pessimistic and a realist, but lately other people have described me optimistic and happy-go-lucky. I suppose that is because I matured a little.

I like writing, but am I a writer? No, I am not. Why did I take this class? To learn a little more about something I don't know.

I hope to get to know you all and I hope my time here is enjoyable.
